Understanding Diastasis Recti After Birth

Diastasis recti — separation of the abdominal muscles — is extremely common after pregnancy and often improves with targeted rehabilitation. Physiotherapy focuses on rebuilding deep core coordination (not just "crunches," which can sometimes make things worse) and integrating the pelvic floor and core as a system.

Most people see meaningful improvement with a structured plan, though the right timeline varies by individual.

What Patients Say

I am 30 weeks pregnant & experiencing discomfort pertaining to my pelvic floor. Arzoo has some magical powers because I went from barely walking or being able to put on clothes while standing to acheiving both previously mentioned challenges right after our first session. I would most defintely reccomend & I will continue this journey with her.

Went for pediatric Physiotherapy with Arzoo. She was amazing! She showed me the exercises needed to correct my babies posture. My baby loved her and smiled the whole time.

I highly recommend Arzoo Patel for pelvic floor physio. I started seeing her recently as I am post partum and started to feel results after just one session. She is extremely caring and knowledgeable.
